Lack of Sole

Some abaya apparently buys sixteen pairs of new sports shoes every month from one of the more upmarket shopping malls in Dubai.

What is more staggering about this: that anyone has that much money to burn? Or that little imagination as to how to spend their (doubtless unearned, and certainly undeserved) money?
