Rocky RAKi fun

More from our Rocky Mountain relations in wild wild Ras Al Khaimah: where police have suddenly realised that the emirate's myriad massage parlours have been turned into underground prostitution centres:

"Al Shamsi said the main purpose of the massage parlours was prostitution, and they had brought hundreds of women, mainly from China, to work as prostitutes.

"He added that the authorities had been investigating the activities of the massage parlours and concluded that they were actually prostitution centres and that immediate action should be taken against them."

The question is why these investigations took so long to reach their very un-astounding conclusions? Weren't authorities slightly suspicious, back in May last year, after licensing 120 massage parlours and receiving applications for a further 250?

Are so many Rakites limping around with bad backs and stiff shoulders, in desperate need of remedial care, that such a multitude of massage centres is warranted?

No. It turns out they are limping around for quite different reasons and stiffnesses.

well RAK was exactly RAK Investments Central with mega dubai-esque projects last year now was it. The modernization was not yet initiated in full throttle. So the money was good then.

when you're poor you'll eat anything.. once you're full you'll get migraines choosing between fillet mignon and sushi.

Oh..now I thought all of that activity would have loosened up those tight joints and relieved them of their aches and relieved us of their pains.

Supply to 'fit' demand. and an intended double entendre there

Well, the police had to make absolutely sure that sex was being administered in these massage parlours before making their report. That can take time y'know, just making sure.
