Footloose and free
With the latest ill-gotten consignment of footwear ready and packed, it is time to take the airship to the 2006 Patagonian Footwear Festival, farewelling the sandlands for a fortnight. It's been a tough few months harvesting slippers from various mosques, but the effort is bound to pay off with these luxuriously sandy, sweaty items selling for millions of dollars on the back shoewear market.
For the record: a five-year-old boy who steals a cookie from the jar or or sticks his tongue out in a cheeky way a passing driver, might reasonably be described as "impish". A five-year-old boy who throws stones at an elderly man is not impish, he is a horrid little brat.

I mean hey!..That kid is impish. Don't tell me you didn't smile when you read that. Thats why it was reported that way. Just visualising it makes me laugh....
It's sad that Footwear City will not be built in Dubai. Just like Scrapmetal City, this one is also to be built elsewhere.
The kid was a tool of his parents. If anyone is horrid, they are. Also, where I come from 61 years old is not elderly. This was not a geezer innocently sitting on his porch in a alzheimer's induced trance watching the cars whiz by.
But archer14, I suspect intended or not, Dubai is working on scrapmetal city. The UAE has steep export tariffs on scrap metal, the intent of which is keep the price of locally produced construction material low.
Danish Ali?
No wonder he got his shoes stolen!
nzm,
His name's pronounced Daah-nish Ali.. it's a Pakistani name.
Man, these people are whining about nothing.. they haven't seen the scale of shoe-robbery inside Bohri mosques.
