An utterly despicable state of affairs which should have been sorted out long before now.

If more attention through the media world was made for these poor chaps as you do there may be something done about it. Disgrace.

So sad.....

It's very kind of you to put all that on your site. It's people like who would make a change I think, even for me to tell you the truth. For the first time I feel I’m grateful that I was rejected in UAE.

SD here is on today's 7days. bloggers were outraged for the strike/blocking road for dhs2 per day increase of salary, here they are asking just for a salary increase dhs10 per year!

Perhaps the owners' mentality is: you should be grateful i even gave you a job, let you feed your family back home.

disgrace!

It's a way to do something to help these unfortunate people.

Quite right, let's start a list of who should leave Dubai:

1. The stinking labourers who complain about less than subsistence wages and litter up the sides of the roads in the evenings while waiting to be carted away.

2. The asian shopkeepers who work all hours and kip on the streets

3. Whinging housemaids of any nationality who are not worthy of your respect.

4. The hordes of asian middle class bachelors who you do not want to live next to.

5. The western expats who buy property then moan when someone builds a dual carriage way through it.

6. All those Jumeirah Janes who ponce about in 4wd with nothing better to do than spend money in those shops and businesses along the beach road.

7. The silly people with little cars who complain when you drive them off the road or block them in with your huge car that reveals oh so much about you.

8. People with kids.

9. Tourists

10. The old, sick or disabled

11. Discarded first wives who got old and boring.

Anonymous said it right, though I am an Indian, the root of the problem lies in India. These b*******s are awarded by the government on one side and on the other side they say that are looking into the welfare of the overseas laborers. These politicians should be hanged first.
