Ras Al Khaimah: Two Emiratis were shot dead by their relative yesterday in a dispute over a piece of land, police said.
Special forces have been dispatched to the area of Shamal, about 10km from the centre of town, to ensure the dispute does not escalate with the killings.

How the hell did he get a pistol for this showdown? I thought it's illegal to own a piece in the UAE.
Alas, revenge and retribution still have roots anchored deeply in the Arabic psyche..
At the risk of making a half-assed analogy, i'll say just take a look at the orgy of violence that is taking place all over the ME to know what I am talking about…:(
