What a tragic life and what a very sad end to it:
Dubai: A Lebanese singing star was found stabbed to death in her Dubai Marina apartment.
Suzan Abdul Sattar Tamim was also disfigured by her attacker. Dubai Police said the 31-year-old singer was stabbed several hours before her body was discovered.
The singer had apparently disappeared for many months before her death. Another strange mystery for Dubai police to solve.

For some reason or the other, she couldn’t have a proper musical career, too turbulent a life for that. In fact, she hasn’t sung anything since 2002. Too young, another lost talent.
Think of Shakur Tupac and Jeff Buckley.
If i want to lay low, dubai would definitly be my last choice...
Ajman, RAK or even Sharjah are much better options.

She left Lebanon and went into hiding to get away from her controlling ex-husband. Three guesses who killed her? Hint - it wasn't the gardener or the maid.
Of course, since domestic violence never happens in Dubai, that's not the answer and the cops will probably arrest some hapless poor person and frame him for the crime.
Truly a shame, these crimes of passion! One minute its elevation, the next degradation.
To call the perp who did this to her, an animal? Well, he's not but worse!
May he rot in hell!

Although I am not a fan of Arabic music, neither a fan of her, but I was really shocked and saddened by the news. She was such a joy to look at and be with. We have met her once in a Nightclub and she was very very nice to everyone. May she rest in peace and may whoever did this to her rot in hell.

Entrepreneur, since "because she was lovely and talented and, if nothing else, a person," clearly wouldn't work with you, how about "because it's just one more thing painting Dubai as a potentially dangerous and unpredictable place that, in combination with soaring cost of living, insane traffic, and general sense that the bubble is about to burst, means that it might soon be that much harder to be an entrepreneur here."

Sometimes things happen that make people stop in their tracks if only for a moment. Obviously because she was famous, she will get more attention than the average woman who suffers the same terrible fate.
But it sounds as though she was the victim of spousal abuse, so let the issue be raised and discussed as it is too often that these matters go unspoken in Arab society.
I think this shows how much of a cowboy town Dubai really is. Under that veneer of safety and security, it really is a mafia place where crime and vice previal.

This seriously sounds like something from CSI.
Disfigured? Wow, that surely sounds like a hate crime. Since she was famous, it might be a person who was obsessed by her or something similar. Maybe a stoker? Sounds more CSI.
muscato, I don't know if she was talented or nice or any of this. I have yet to read in a paper about someone brutally murdered that they were 'a jerk' or 'bitch'.
It is obviously a tragedy that I would not wish upon anyone.
And Dubai is what it is. I don't know how you can expect crimes to not exist. That's just silly.

Now the mystery has been solved.
This MURDERED Lebanese Singer was "Allegedly" involved in a love triangle with a "Married but very wealthy Egyptian Billionaire", who allegedly hired a bent ex-copper to kill her, allegedly. This bent PIG was supposed to have been hired by the Egyptian property developer to carryout this assasination for $2,000,000.
Some how the BASTARD has been caught. CRIME DOES PAYS.

I've always believed that a person's life ends in the manner that they led it. Suzan's tragic and horrific end, echoes the lifestyle she lived (rumored to have hired a hitman herself, to seek vengence on ex-hubby). May Allah have Mercy on her.
