Police under-the-covers

We know how amazing Dubai police are, so perhaps they could teach their Sharjah counterparts the concept of "making ones excuses and leaving".

Because although we must admire them for their dedication to duty, going undercover to expose prostitution doesn't need to go as far as actually getting under the covers:

ABU DHABI — Two young girls who stripped with the intent to have sex with two plainclothes cops have been sentenced to 60 lashes each for practising prostitution and adultery

Ah! But it's not really their fault. The Sharjah cops were "enticed" by the two underage girls, who will now be lashed. A great result all round for Justice, Virtue, and and the Crusade Against Vice.

Because what defences do two adult male professional law enforcement officers possibly have if two young children "entice" them into wickedness?

A couple of my ex-girlfriends have mentioned how cops would harass them at times and try to "make friendship" with them and there is always an implied threat if the girls would try to reject them.

ANywhere else in the world an adult male having sex with a 14 year old girl would be called a paedophile.

Define "under-age" and "children".
It is common in the Arab world for girls as young as 14 to marry. I would imagine that these girls are probably under 21. So what is a "child"? Monica Lewinski was described by the prosecution as a "child" when they were trying to impeach Bill Clinton. She was nearly 21 at the time. I get peeved when young women are described as "children" in order to make the male look like a paedophile, really people lets get a grip. The point with regard to the police is well taken, although strict sharia law demands that there be NO doubt and waiting for the girls to undress was probably required. In cases of adultery, sharia demands that 4 people witness penetration for the case to be proven, so conviction is particularly difficult.

This is too good:

"In cases of adultery, sharia demands that 4 people witness penetration for the case to be proven, so conviction is particularly difficult. "

So I presume in places like Saudi Arabia nobody EVER gets convicted of adultery unless there were 4 voyeuristic onlookers studying the "penetration"...

Isn't that considered "entrapment"?

And hold on, wasn't lashes/flogging made illegal recently?

So let me get this straight ..

The policemen have a problem with it AFTER they have sex? Couldn't they have arrested the girls .. oh I dunno .. BEFORE getting under the covers?

And don't these "law enforcement" officers get charged with anything?! Where's the sense in that?

Feckers!!
