Good point about The World islands. I presume they would just let them burn; anything combustable would have been developed & built by the individual owners.
Here's a thought... maybe one of the islands could be developed into a super-exclusive, "7star" privately owned emergency service - complete with fire fighting helicopters, parachuting first aid personnel and submarine veterinarian. Pamela Anderson take note...
