Foaming Fish

What the hell happened to the allegedly teeming-with-fish freshwater lake at DIC? Yesterday it was life-free with the fountain whipping up a foam slick the size of Wales. And whereas acacias and bamboo seems to thrive in this climate, the date palms planted all over look really grey and tired and sad.
