Divorcing dimwits Part II
The temper tantrum talaaq man brings to mind an even more cretinous tale of marital woe: "Couple flayed for seeking divorce". (Tragically, "flayed" in a figurative rather than a literal sense):
A married couple have been lambasted by the divorce courts for trying to separate as proof of their love.
They had not experienced marital problems, nor had they been arguing. In fact, they even said they were deeply in love with each other.
The 22-year-old wife had given her 27-year-old husband an ultimatum, saying that if he really loved her, he would divorce her.
Staff at the Justice Department were not particularly impressed, describing the wife as "immature" and the husband as "childish". They recommended the couple seek psychiatric help.
