Pamela Anderson wants to open a hotel in Abu Dhabi, say reports.
The former Playboy model is planning to develop her own eco-friendly resort in the country.
"I'm building a hotel there," she is quoted as saying. "It's environmentally friendly.
"I went there with the Make A Wish Foundation and met some great people there, and the royal family was really friendly."
Perhaps she can bring her Baywatch buddies round to fan those friendly sheikhs with date palm fronds as they swelter in her un-airconditioned, electricity-free, "kind-to-the-earth" resort.

I wonder what the hotel is gonna be like. Like you said, since it is environmentally friendly then it is un-air conditioned and electricity-free but perhaps what they mean is an alternative energy source.
I don't really wanna defend her because I know that in the end of they day, it's all just a big publicity stunt somehow. But I won't lie, I would be really interested in going there and checking out what Pamela has come up with :p
Since we've seen all sort of bizarre architecture for buildings in UAE, my best guess for this hotel would be Pamela's boobs.

Dubai: The blowing sands will dissipate slightly today but it will continue to be very hot and very dry, according to the Dubai met office.
The temperature will be between 45C and 46C and humidity at 55 per cent.
The comfort index had shot up to 8 yesterday which is "near stress". Tomorrow evening, however, it will be pleasant with temperatures at 39C.
The comfort index is graded from "comfortable" to "high stress". The higher the humidity the higher the stress level.
I always love the news about the UAE. Wonder when its finaly comming to a collaps, cause they are building and building but they forget that its just an island....
They already had problems with the sea while buildings those other islands, the palm, the world etc.
They are fooling around with mother nature and one day she will take revenge.
Its just a matter of time, on that you can rely.....

Dubai: Weather conditions in the UAE will remain hot, humid and uncomfortable over the next few days, according to Dubai Meteorological Office.
The maximum temperature in Dubai on Sunday was 41 degree Celsius with a light northwesterly wind bringing little respite.
Theo Carter, a forecaster at Dubai Meteorological Office, told Gulf News the comfort index was sitting at 'very uncomfortable' on Sunday and there remains a risk of thunderstorms over the eastern mountains.
Al Ain and other inland areas suffered from dust storms on Sunday.

Melbourne: A lesbian couple has been jailed for kissing on a public beach in Dubai.
The Dubai Court of Appeal found the couple guilty of indecency in the first case of its kind in Dubai.
The Appeal Court has awarded one-month jail sentence to a 30-year-old Lebanese and 36-year-old Bulgarian women, after which they will be deported to their hometown.

The prosecution has charged the women with kissing, groping each other and indecent acts on Al Mamzar public beach, reports Daily Telegraph.
The onlookers saw the two women getting intimate with each other, following which the police was called.
''The Lebanese woman was lying on top of the Bulgarian and the two were cuddling and kissing each other in front of us,'' a witness said in the official records.
''I called the police because it was indecent especially as there were some families around,’ the witness added.
The case coincides with a British couple who appeared in a Dubai court accused of having sex on a beach in the booming Gulf city state.
